Call for Tutorials

The SPro2020 organizing committee invites proposals for tutorials to be held before the conference. We welcome proposals for tutorials on practical skills required in prosodic research, involving software and hardware tools or experimental, computational and analytic methods and techniques. We also welcome other kinds of tutorials on any topic in speech prosody, including in teaching, therapy, art, and so on. If you are interested in offering a tutorial, please contact the SPro2020 committee.
Your proposal should include:

  • Tutorial name and acronym
  • Organizers’ (and tutors’) name and contact info (e-mail, possibly also mobile phone)
  • Proposed duration of the tutorial (not to exceed 3 hours)
  • Profile of the expected audience (e.g., young researchers, experienced researchers, expected background and skills)
  • Estimated number of participants and the upper limit
  • Technical requirements
  • A short description of the tutorial to be published on the conference web
